Hey! We’re Like Angels and welcome to our blog “Confessions Of An Indie Artist”

We’re independent artists from Sydney, Australia and have been navigating the music industry for about 7 years now, since late 2014. 

During the past 7 years, we have experienced and learnt so much! We wanted to create a safe space where we can share those experiences (both the highs and lows) and all the tips & tricks we’ve learnt along the way too; a place where we can share our honest confessions on what it’s really like to be an independent artist in the music industry…

Basically we want to share all of the things we wish we’d known at the beginning of our journey. So if you’ve ever dreamt about being a full time singer songwriter or have even just wondered about what’s involved behind the scenes, then this is the place for you!

We hope that by sharing our real experiences, it will bring some insight on what to expect when pursing the indie artist pathway and better equip you to tackle the challenges when they inevitably come.
